This Department started its journey with the mission of preparing students to become aware, understand and analyze different economic events happening around the world. The department also makes sincere effort to provide teaching in economics based on theoretical construct and empirical findings. It tries to ensure holistic development of the students so that they become successful in their professional field as well as become a socially responsible citizen.

Departmental Library timing: 2pm - 3pm on all working days

The department has a well-equipped laboratory with desktop computers, providing students with ample resources for their projects and practical courses. Qualified faculty members are always devoted to make the teaching-learning process suitable for theoretical as well as practical understanding of the students. Additionally, there is one laptop designated for teachers, ensuring seamless integration of technology into teaching practices. Students have access to a diverse range of resources for academic enrichment through Central and Departmental library. A notice board serves as a platform for important announcements and updates, keeping everyone informed. Moreover, the almirah provides storage space for educational materials and equipment.
