Know Your Library

Dum Dum Motijheel Rabindra Mahavidyalaya college central library was set up from the beginning of the college. The main objective of the library is to disseminate information to the students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the colleges. The college posses a stock of near 18,000 books on different subjects and a number of journals and periodicals. With a long tradition of combine efforts of all the staff of the library, we have to meet the pressing demands of the users by rendering various services through both manual and digital mode. The college library has a comfortable reading room (40 seats), where user can read documents as well as newspapers. Generally, not more than 1 (one) book at a time will be allowed by deposit of reading card to the respective library staff and details of documents must keep an entry in the “Reading room register”. The library is a member of N-LIS (National Library and Information services infrastructure for scholarly content) consortium of INFLIBNET. The library members can access ... e-journals and ... e-books through N-LIST.
